COOOOLLLLDDDD

Monday was quite a change. We arose to a temperature of 58 and falling. The wind was blowing at 20 mph accelerating to 35-40. On top of that there was a fine mist falling, making it a miserable day. We went to the town meeting at 9 and were finished by 10. On the way home I went to the Crouch’s where they gave us the concert series tickets so we will go tomorrow night. I came home and was surprised to find Peg coming to help me fix my business card design. We were cooking right along when the men from the electronic repair shop came to show me how to make our DVD player work. We had the entire Texas room full of people working on separate projects with me trying to work with them and the projects at the same time. Everyone finally left and I was able to begin reviewing for my AARP class Wednesday and Thursday. I was not sorry because it was too cold and miserable to be outside. (Although I was told it was -16 in South Dakota). After lunch I continued working while Evelyn ironed, cleaned the kitchen, and lay down to rest. Just as I was ready to nap, George came back to fix another problem we had encountered this morning. He ran into a snag and left to return in an hour. He did and I had not quite wakened. We fixed the problem but I still have a problem getting my business cards lined up with the printer. They don’t come out in line with the scores on the paper. Regardless, I printed some. Now I need to learn how to put them on the back of the card, reflecting both our summer and winter addresses. We watched some TV, knitted and worked more on the class.
