Thursday began as usual, but we went to the hall to meet the rest of the kitchen band to go to the Weslaco Rehabilitation Center. When we arrived we learned that the Center had cancelled our visit. We came home and resumed packing until lunch time. We are continuing to prepare for our departure. I have also begun to bring our outside items indoors. We are told to do that because when hurricane season arrives, the park workers have to move items that may become missiles during high winds. I went to a local golf club to meet Lionel and Paul to drink beer. I was home by 5:30 but not in good shape. I ate supper with Evelyn and then virtually passed out on the couch. I had drunk too much. As a result, we did not call Peter on his birthday. We will do that over the weekend. I wakened at 9 and blogged. Also, a new neighbor brought a decorative wishing well to us and we will take it to NC to use as a decoration. I stayed up for the news and went back to sleep. It has been in the 90s and windy for the past two days. It is predicted to continue throught the weekend.
