light snow in the mountains

Evelyn didn’t sleep well last night so I let her sleep a bit later. We arose to absolutely no snow that was predicted. We left for the shopping plaza near us so I could talk with the Satellite people again. They said no one was available Friday but would send someone tomorrow--even this afternoon if they could get someone. Evelyn went to have her fingernails filled so I went downtown to deliver the soaps, etc. we collected on our trip north to the Open Door soup kitchen. The directors were not there but I left a note saying we would be available to volunteer again this summer. I went to see the Casterline’s daughter, Laurie, to see if she had any eggs. I took a dozen home and later in the day tried to take her an onion but she was gone for the day. I went to Ingalls grocery to get some potato salad for tomorrow and then returned to get Evelyn. We came home for a light lunch and a nap. We had planned to walk but didn’t because snow flurries had begun and was like a light rain. We didn’t want to be soaked. When we wakened, we were met with another flurry. We covered the dogwood tree in our front yard and then went to K-Mart to get some jeans on sale since I had not brought as many from Texas as I had thought. We stopped at another grocery to see if they had French Vanilla Cool Whip (they didn’t) and then went to walk a while. We were less than half way around when the snow began again so we retraced our steps. We went to Maggie Valley to use a $7 coupon at Snappy’s restaurant. We shared Italian chicken and a salad that was delicious. We came home and I tried in vain for the 4th time to download Juno to my computer. My files had become corrupted, and I was told to uninstall then reinstall. I did the first part but can’t do the second. As a result, I can’t access my address book. I can’t send any message to anyone unless they send me one so I can get their e-mail. For example, we want to thank Stacy for the T-shirts she sent on our trip and tell her how much we missed her but can’t without her address. I have written some nasty stuff to Juno tech support but, of course, will get nowhere with them.
