resuming normality

We slept late this morning, especially me. I got up around 9:15. I got dressed and took Evelyn to her Weight Watchers meeting. She had lost another pound. I walked to the kitchen store looking for a grater that is attached to a plastic container. They didn’t have one. We took some grocery bags to the Open Door and went out for breakfast at the local Waffle House. We had a 2 for 1 coupon for a ham and cheese omelet. It was delicious especially since we had to wait to eat until after the weigh in. We returned home and gathered up the golf equipment and the recyclables. We went to Iron Tree and played 18 holes. Evelyn is really great to ride around with me. We took some candy to give to Isidro, the Hispanic man who does the mowing, etc. At the golf course. He has given me many balls he has found over the months. He appreciated it. In fact he even joined us while we played the second 9. He speaks a bit more English than I do Spanish. I didn’t play well but not bad for not playing at all for two weeks. We retuned home and did some work before relaxing and eating supper. I took the tow bar and magnetic lights back to the trailer. We just relaxed for the evening because we couldn’t learn whether there was a street dance this evening. We called Noah to wish him happy birthday after 9.
