A great day of fun

I was up earlier again. I went out to water our plants and the neighbor’s before waking Evelyn. I thought her hair appointment was at 9:30 but it ws at 9. I didn’t waken her until 8:50. She rushed to get there. I stayed here and tried to call the salesman from yesterday. He was not in today. I tried to scan and send a copy of the car spec sheet. I dressed for the day and heated our lunch. Evelyn returned, ate, and dressed herself. We left for Candler to meet our friends for the trip to the Flatrock Playhouse. They drove and we saw the play, “Unnecessary Farce”. It was risqué but funny and very well acted. We were out by 4 and drove back toward Asheville, stopping at a big shoe warehouse where Evelyn found some white heels that don’t hurt her toes. We left there and went to Frankie Bones, a restaurant in Arden (a suburb of Asheville) to have dinner. It was a nice place dedicated to Frank Sinatra. We had 2 for 1 coupons for both the play and the restaurant. We were impressed with the meal. We had returned a call to Stacy who has been trying to talk with Evelyn concerning a gift for her birthday. We were invited into the Norris home for strawberry/rhubarb pie but came home instead because Evelyn needed to work on her Bible study for tomorrow. She also must play a hymn for the ladies to sing. She has practiced many times and will do an acceptable job. I watched the Cubs play the Brewers.
