dancing with friends
We slept until 8 and had oatmeal for breakfast. Evelyn sat in the living room a while reading and watching the weather channel. I was on the Internet looking for cars and learning what ours is worth. I am seriously considering selling this Saturn to someone who needs a good tow vehicle and buying another or a Chrysler Town and Country. We had lunch and then Evelyn took a short nap. We went to meet our dancing friends at a local Subway and took our sandwiches to Lake Junaluska to eat beside the lake. We had a good time and left for the dance lessons. We learned about 5 new steps and were both tired. The class ended early. I sold 5 tickets to the German dinner in October and left the class with a likely promise of 2 to 6 more. I must remember to take the tickets with me next week. We came home and watched the Cubs lose again. I am afraid the magic of the season is over and things will end the same as they have for the past 100 years. I had my first consultation with Andrew before going to bed. He is writing a paper on Martin Luther.
