Seeing man Fort Wayne friends

We slept late and rose to shower and enjoy apple pancakes that Janet had made. I went outside and picked some yellow delicious apples and then Evelyn and I went to Casterline’s. Paul drove us to meet Shirley at the southwest Casa de Angelo restaurant for lunch. We were back at their house around 2 and made visits to old friends Gene and Jackie Dettmer, Terry and Martha Hoeppner, Tom Gerbers and Helen Fisher. We then went out to the campus and followed Louise to Appleby’s on Stellhorn Road. We shared a 3 course meal and had plenty to eat. We went to Kohl’s where I reluctantly bought a long sleeve heavy shirt. I didn’t deserve to have it since I have many in NC that I could have brought but didn’t have the foresight to know it would be cold in the north. We visited and watched some of the Colts game with Tom and Janet before going to bed. We have to get up earlier tomorrow to meet Evelyn’s friend and get started on the road to Teutopolis to visit Don and Deana.
