Worship at our church
We were up early, got ready for church and, since we were early, continued putting things away. I went out and moved the new golf cart so we could get in and out of the door to the screened porch. We went to Immanuel Lutheran although neither of us was excited about it. We did see many old friends and had a good worship. I also saw the owner of the John Deere dealership who said I could come to his shop and have a worker use his bolt cutter to remove the padlock holding the trailer to our car. I will go there early so we can go to Mexico for pedicures. We brought some Church’s fried chicken home for Evelyn’s lunch, and I finished the shaved turkey. Finally all the food we brought from NC is gone. The opened edible food, that is. We continued with arranging the house, and I went to Tom Crouch’s who had a portable air tank. He came and blew up the 2 flat tires on the old golf cart. I have finally emptied the trailer of everything except the towbar and protective shield. Perhaps we can sell it. We visited a bit with Tom and Diesta before I made popcorn for our supper. We talked with Emily and Stephen for a while. Evelyn peeled apples and will make a pie sometime after we get some flour.
