Tuesday in the green

Tuesday was normal in the routine. I walked quite a bit in the fog before returning home to clean up. We had to hurry to the Bible study at 10. We led some of it by watching videos about Mormons. We had dressed in our hospital clothes so we could go to the volunteer appreciation luncheon. One thing is in process, however. Some of the men in the park are trying to find the shut off valve to the neighbor’s water. We are interested because it is also our shut off valve. We can shut off the water inside our house but not outside. We might need to do that sometime. We rode our bicycles to the luncheon where I received my 250 hour volunteer pin. I have served 303 hours, but Evelyn has served 412 hours. She didn’t get a pin because the next level is 500 hours. We had a delicious filet mignon for lunch, prepared by the hospital chef. The meat must have weighed 6-8 ounces. We returned home just in time to attend the bike club pad party. We ate a bit more there so we didn’t have any supper. The Drews came to visit a while and left their portable storage unit with us. We took another walk and spent the evening researching dude ranches in the Bandera and Maggie Valley areas in case the girls can come in the spring. We finally found a couple to go to the concert with us tomorrow evening.
