It was much colder this morning. It was also windier. The blessing was that it also rained slightly. We desperately need rain and are thankful for anything the Lord sends. Of course we would like more. Even this light rain, should it be steady over a period of time, would soak in and help the crops that are trying to grow. I was able to walk a bit before it became heavier. Evelyn came home from exercise and we ate. Then we wanted to exercise more (she had led yoga this morning) so we walked to the doctor’s office to ask for prescription renewal for me. We left the request along with a request to be scheduled for shingles shots. We don’t know whether the insurance will cover them or whether there is any vaccine in the Valley. The nurses are supposed to take care of it. We spent some time at home before coming to the party at the hall. It featured a group called Double Decker, the group including a mother, father, and son (he is in his 30s). They were good but a bit sacrilegious. This was followed by the annual bike picnic party. Due to the rainy, windy conditions, the ride scheduled for this morning had been cancelled but the party was not. The prepared items couldn’t be saved. There were more than 50 who came. We had a group picture taken after. Then we met with our dance couple partners to make a plan for next year. We returned home but had no supper because our lunch had been so late (3:00). I then went to the hall to post pictures because Evelyn hosted the Bible study at our house. The hall has WiFi and moves faster than my Internet card. I can’t post pictures from home. Here I can just go to our recreation hall. During the summer I must go to the local hotel.
