Tuesday and Wednesday.

Tuesday is our regular morning Bible study day. We went to that instead of participating in the kitchen band performance. The video was the last in the series led by our replacement. We will likely resume our leadership next week. We spent some of our day continuing preparation for our dinner guests from Winnipeg. They have been good friends since I visited them when she was fighting cancer. We had a WW type dinner that was good. We were surprised that Alice had never eaten a sweet potato and wanted to continue that. Of course, we were serving that with our pork loin. Oh, well. She seemed to be satisfied when we played hand and foot, the only game we ever play with them. They left around 10. It is unlikely we will see them again this season but would like to.
Wednesday was a golf day. Our club system is such that we must sign up to play at 7 AM even though we don’t T off until 9. I don’t like that system but have no choice. I picked up Bob and went to the local Executive Course, a par 3 that I had played before. I had a good day and played 1 stroke under bogey golf. We always enjoy beer after the game. This was my downfall. I planned to have only 1 but had 2 at the course and 2 more when we got back here. I introduced Bob to our neighbor Armond. They hit it off well because they are both fishermen. They plan to take a trip or two into the Gulf next year. Armond and Rose are leaving for Grandview, Manitoba tomorrow morning. We went to the Lenten service at Immanuel tonight because Bonny wants to have a choir sing on March 29. We have to have a couple of rehearsals, so we went to church. We said goodbye to the neighbors and came home. We may have a bike club outing tomorrow, but we hope it will rain us out. We have a drought here.
