Wednesday

Wednesday we walked again and came home for breakfast. We had cold cereal. Unfortunately, we have an ant problem. They are small and run all over the kitchen. We have put out several spots of Terro ant killer. It may take several days but we will prevail. The worker ants are supposed to take the poison back to the nest. We talked with the lawn care young man about making a garden and caring for our plants. He is a very personable and helpful person. He gave us some good ideas. I was encouraged to wash the porch and the deck, destroying the spider webs. I decided that if I could do that I could just complete the treating of the floorings with a water seal. I spent most of the day doing that. Evelyn worked on cooking. After supper we went to choir practice. I am really disgusted with the church here because they don’t use me. I will continue attending because Evelyn wants to be involved with the ladies group. I will sing in the choir but will do no other volunteering in any way. We watched some of a video of “Catherine the Great” starring Catherine Zeta Jones. I got tired and went to bed. Tomorrow we will go to the Terrace Hotel to upload some pictures of our South America trip and have them printed at Rite Aid. I didn’t know this could be done until yesterday.
