barely seeing the doctor
We didn’t have time to walk because Evelyn had to be in Asheville for her doctor’s appointment. It was for 10 but, due to the writing a card, we arrived about 20 minutes late. It was only God’s mercy that allowed us to see the doctor at all. He wasn’t as busy as usual. He is an endocrinologist but was more concerned about her blood pressure. He changed her medication slightly. We don’t understand his system. He can’t observe anything without bloodwork but only draws it after seeing the patient. Then he calls with the results. We then went to lunch at Chick-file and began a shopping spree. We went to A. C. Moore to get some paint for aprons and Independence day decorations. We also got a pattern for aprons. We went to the Farmer’s Market for peaches but the freestone still aren’t in. We did get some corn on the cob before leaving. We stopped at Ingal’s for some other supplies for our weekend company. We came home, unloaded the car and rested until around 6. Then Evelyn took me to the golf course to walk 9 holes, and she went to walk around the lake. I played poorly but was pleasantly surprised on hole 6 to find Evelyn come riding with the ranger to join me. It was nice to have her finish with me. We came home and had a simple supper. Of course it was almost 9 when we ate. We finished and spent the rest of the evening sewing and taking pictures from the new camera and loading them into the computer. I will try to up load some to the blog soon.
