Relaxing day
We went for our morning walk and then watered the plants outside. We also packed a bit more for the trip. We left for Asheville around 10:30 to meet with the pastor at 11. He had many good questions and points to make about my pulpit supply problem. He convinced me that it would never happen. We agreed that I would send an e-mail to the district president to ask him for an interview. We then took the pastor to lunch at Long John Silvers. We returned home and rested a while before going to the golf course to play. Evelyn was good enough to go along for company. It cost $10 after 5 and includes a cart. I didn’t play 18 because I wanted to get home to watch the Cubs. I did find some rocks on the course that we can use around our mulch areas. We ate the Rueben sandwich from Frankie Bones for supper. We went to bed early.
