exhausting golf game

We were up and walking the lake by 9. The difference was that Tom and Beethoven (their dog) were with us. We made good time but had a few sniffing encounters along the way. We came back for breakfast then Evelyn and I went to the Open Door. I had prepared a short devotion in case I was needed. Another man was there, so I unloaded the items Doris had sent with us. I learned that her home canned green beans were not something they could use but left them anyway incase some of the volunteer might want them. The director will ask those taking some to bring the cans back. We went to the grocery for a box and some other items for tomorrows breakfast omelets and came home. It was after 2 when we arrived, and we talked some more. Peter went swimming with the young boy visiting Frieda. They went to Canton because their pool had a slide. I guess they didn’t. Tom, Peter and I went to Iron Tree to play golf because the price is $10 after 5. They went into holiday price mode and raised the price to $17.50. We left. Tom and I dropped Peter at home and went to walk the course at Lake Junaluska. Peter was unable to walk that far. We played 15 holes for $12 each and were exhausted. We went to Pizza Hut for pizza and then returned home for supper at 8:30. I ate some pizza we had from the GO grocery. We all went to bed early because we were whipped.
