A great ballgame
We walked early again--through a dense fog. We could not see the lake when we began and barely when we finished. It is almost always foggier over the water than elsewhere. We came home for breakfast and a shower. Evelyn couldn’t take one because she had to go to the wound center. They have told her to keep the wound dry. She has to wear a compression stocking as well. She came home and we had lunch. I called Norris’ and told them we were going to the baseball game tonight, and they could meet us there. I vacuumed the floors while Evelyn made a ground turkey taco salad for our supper. We ate half of our serving and drove off to Asheville, arriving after the game started. Dallas and Karen were there, and we enjoyed the game with them. The game was very good too. We were late getting home and to the local grocery where we had to stop for some final condiments for Evelyn to use in making a peach pie. We went straight to bed for the night.
