violent rain

Again we slept a bit later. We were on the road by 9, filled with gasoline, and out of MS by noon. We had saved some or last night’s dinner and found another Pizza Hut that was willing to warm our Pzone and pizza for us. We bought a drink and I tipped both the manager and the waitress. After lunch we drove in the rain all the way to Lafayette. It was still raining when we went to bed at 10. We got our room and couldn’t get either computer to work on their wireless nor my air card. I will complain to the manager tomorrow. We called Jimmy and Betty Trahan who met us at a nice restaurant we found last spring. We enjoyed dinner and a visit with them and returned to the motel. I thought we might go to Mamou tomorrow morning but don’t think we will. We will see what the weather is like then.
