A full Sunday

We were up and off to church by 10:10. The service was OK. We went with Joe and Bonny to Port Isabel for a LWML rally. It also included an LLL meeting. We stopped in Harlingen for lunch at Lubys and Joe paid for all of us. I hadn’t ever liked Lubys but today I had a delicious salad. I might change my mind. The presenter, Bervyn Merching, was riding with us and gave his presentation on the Lutheran Hour Ministries. It was a power point that emphasized what the organization does for Christ. We were impressed as to how the Men’s Network is growing. We plan to use one of their Bible studies in our park. The LWML served a carry in buffet so we enjoyed a good supper. We left and got home by 8. We had been on the move since we left for church at 10. We were happy to shed our Sunday clothes. Stacy had called 3 times during the day, but we were without our phone. We called her back and had a nice visit. Evelyn went to bed while I watched some football and put some more things away.
