Thursday fun

It was overcast most of the day but the sun shined later in the day for the first time in a couple of days. Evelyn did yoga with the group today. She came home for breakfast and continued with meal prep. She worked until lunch and then went to therapy in Mercedes. I spent much time trying to find someone to help repair our fibre optic tree. The couple who started me on the project were leaving for lunch at Fat Daddy’s with the bike club and were gone the rest of the day. I couldn’t fix it. Evelyn returned and we continued arranging the chairs and cooking the remainder of the meal. It featured center cut pork chops, stuffing, sweet potatoes mixed with peaches, loaded mashed potatoes, Raman noodle slaw, and crescent rolls. Bob Theresa, Roger and Judy arrived exactly on time, and we all loved the meal. Before dessert and coffee, we played 3 games of Sequence. We offered a choice of Marie Calendar’s razzleberry pie or Evelyn’s home made pecan pie and ice cream. We all parted quite full. We cleaned up the kitchen and then relaxed before retiring.
