Marvelous Christian testimonies.

We completed our normal morning routine. It was cooler than yesterday morning but not windy. We decided to forego breakfast because we would have a large lunch at the Gideon's Pastors Appreciation Luncheon. I dressed for the event and then went to have my hair cut. I was back in time for us to finish dressing and go to the parkk next door to attend a "Taste of Minnesota" event. Evelyn wanted to go but I didn't. We were going to lunch and didn't need more food. She bought some small cupcakes anyway. We were blessed by the testimonies and address at the luncheon. It is amazing what God accomplishes through the testaments distributed through the Gideons International. I was there as a pastor but am also a Gideon myself. Evelyn needed some things for some cooking, so we went to WalMart to get them. We were home by 2:30 and intended to take a nap. She announced that she didn't want to go to the dance tonight, so I had time to play golf. I took Armand to the Executive course where we met a widower who was plaing alone and joined him. He was from Virginia! I never expected to meet anyone from that far east down here. We shared a pitcher of beer afterward and returned home. I had to prepare more for the class tomorrow, so I went to work. Evelyn had heated our bratwurst for supper and had made some chocolate covered strawberries and some microwave fudge. All was delicious. We went to share the fudge with the neighbors and then returned home to watcche the ceremony opening the Olympic games in Vancouver, BC. I continued working on the class for tomorrow and blogged.
