Dedicating Joe's new office
It was very balmy this morning on my walk. Evelyn is using a DVD called "4 mile walk" that makes her sweat. She had to come home and shower before going to the ribbon cutting ceremony at Joe Winston's new office. His son, Randy, gave a nice speech when he acknowledged the certificate from the Chamber of Commerce. Then the pastor from St. Paul McAllen where they worship blessed the new office. The entire family is devoted to Christ and His service. They had a tour and some light snacks before we left. We went to Jack-in-the-Box for a spicy chicken sandwich. We had gone to JC Penny first to look at intimate apperral for Evelyn. We didn't find any but did find a pair of shorts and a top for her to wear tomorrow. We really liked the sandwich. We went to the hospital for our afternoon of volunteering in the gift shop. We got along well with Irma who didn't come in until 3 when we went on break. We came home directly after work, and Evelyn lay down for an hour. I took the golf cart (it was here when we returned), got the mail, looked for a golfing partner for tomorrow, stopped at a block party, learned about how to get wireless in the park after Armond leaves and returned home. I found Armond to ask him to play golf and had a beer with him. He can't play because he plays softball tomorrow and leaves for Grandview, MB, Canada. We will miss them. We had a sandwich for supper and then watched "National Treasure 2". Evelyn had to go to bed earlier because she is going on a boat trip to Brownsville tomorrow morning at 7 AM.
