We love Sunday worship!

We were blessed with 24 in attendance at our regular worship. That was pretty good since verymany have left for their homes in the north. More will leave this week but some will still be here for our Easter service. Even though I see them only once each week, I miss them during the summer. I went off to Llano Grande Park to give the same message. I think I did a better job the next time and received several compliments. I feel somewhat embarrassed when it is Christ who deserves all praise. The men in charge tell me how much the people there are blessed when I am scheduled to preach. I learned during the service that this was their final one of the season, so I asked one man to announce that we will have a service. We will see if any of the attenders show up at our service next week. I would be blessed if they do. We came home with the newspaper that Hamels give us each Sunday. We had lunch of meatloaf that Evelyn had prepared a few days ago and settled in to watch 2 more NCAA ball games. It was much more temperate today than yesterday. We washed the screen porch floor but couldn't get all the water out and anticipate water spots on the floor because it is painted. Evelyn brushed the water out of the opening while I sprayed. I had tried to mop it, but the dust is so thick from the wind picking up dirt and blowing into the porch. That didn't work. When we finished, we took a bike ride around the park. It was a very pleasant evening. We returned home and ate popcorn for supper as we watched 2 of my favorite reality shows: The amazing Race and Undercover Boss. Evelyn was able to talk with Emily for a while. We talked with Stacy yesterday. I did get started on packing for the trip and preparing for the worship service next week.
