First stages of packing
We exercised. I decided to ride my bicycle to Trail's End to visit 2 people who attend our worship services. It was reported that a women had melanoma but she didn't. She did appreciate the visit and the time we prayed together. I then visited Jim Bruhn who needs his pacemaker replaced. He was leaving for McAllen with a friend and was fine. I rode back past Ranchero Village to see Hamels. They weren't home so I left a note asking that they post an announcement in their hall telling about our Easter worship. I also stopped to talk with Bauknechts and made a plan for meeting with them for cards next week. I returned home and began working on packing the trailer. We also began to select items from inside the house to take. After lunch Evelyn went to have her hair cut and get her nails treated. She took the artificial nails off. I cleaned up while she was gone--my body and the kitchen. She returned and rested. I joined her later. We didn't eat supper before church because the filet mignons I had cooked for lunch had filled us up. We had an impressive event--personal absolution. After confession the entire congregation went forward so the pastor could pronounce personal absolution. We stayed and practiced with the choir and then came home to prepare the meal we will have with Janice before she accompanies us to Good Friday worship.
