Fun in the city

We were up and headed for the flea market across the highway. Evelyn wanted to buy a gallon of strawberries. It was cold and windy when we dressed so I wore a long sleeve shirt and jeans. Evelyn wore 3 layers. We went from there to the block party in the part of town called Frog Level. We walked around looking at the many crafts and plants for sale. The sun came out and the protection from the buildings made us very hot. We bought some flowers and learned that a bank was giving away tomato plants. We walked up to the bank and got the next to last 4 pack of Better Boys. We returned and listened to a local Dixieland band before sharing a barbecue sandwich sold by some church group. We came home and Evelyn cleaned the strawberries while I watched some golf. We got ready to go to the Marriage Encounter spiral but,upon arrival at the host's house, learned it was scheduled for next Saturday. We visited a while and returned home to finish the pizza from last night before going to usher at a play called "Seussical". It was based on several books by Dr. Seuss. We came home and had hot chocolate because it had become quite coool while we were watching the play.
