Bringing the boys home
We were all up and eating breakfast by 8. We said goodbye to everyone and left with Emily to go to the“doctor”. It had rained much of the night but was not ready to quit. Evelyn and Emily were “treated” by the “doctor” and her trainee. I had taken a Zyrtek and was feeling very funny. I went to the car and slept for an hour while they were being treated. They weren’t finished until 11 and we were on our way. It rained virtually all the way to Richmond where we ate lunch. The Lord had cleared the air while we went in and came out but continued when we resumed. We had no trouble and no rain when we stopped for supper at Newport, KY. From there on we had little rain. It doesn’t rain much this side of the mountains. We arrived home and unpacked. It was only 7:30. We had some ice cream before going to bed.
