Cleaning the house--outside
I was up early, made coffee, got the neighbor’s paper (she is gone on a trip) and got the urge to make omelets. I made 3 and we ate them before going on errand runs. Evelyn wanted to go to WalMart to get some things for her and some clothes for Noah. I went to the nearby Best Buy and got a refund for an antivirus disk I had been charged for. I joined them in WalMart but found that Noah only wanted a book, not clothes. We left there and went to the public library to get some DVDs to watch. We left there and went to Lowe’s on the way home where Evelyn bought some plants. After lunch we watched “Guarding Tess”, a good movie starring Nicolas Cage. It was now 3, and when we stepped outside, we found the humidity had dropped. This encouraged us to clean some of the outside. We moved everything off the driveway, used our leaf blower to clean the loose dirt, took a broom to the cobwebs, sprayed the siding, and brushed away much of the dirt. We did the same to the deck and front porch before washing the car. Noah was a great help as usual. We came in for supper and left for choir practice around 6:30. We returned home and watched 2 episodes of “The Unit” on TV. Evelyn went to bed earlier than we, but I followed at 10. We have to drive to Berea tomorrow to exchange Noah for the girls.
