Productive Saturday.
We slept late but not as late as Noah. I was up, and applied another coat of polyurethane to the deck furniture and a first coat to the back of the swing. We ate breakfast and then went to see if Gene Ford had any tools we could use in the making of our new Purdue wishing well. He offered some screws, a drill and a saw. We also asked if he was interested in taking us fishing next week. He will check his schedule. We also went to see our neighbor, Gary. He had a deluxe saw that we decided to use. We went to Lowes to get some lumber. We found what we wanted and returned home for lunch. We then cut the boards to size and screwed the bottom square together. It was hot so we stopped and rested before going to the driving range. Noah hit some very good balls as did Andrew last week. Our problem was that the man who gathers up the balls using a tractor wanted to do his work. This made us wait each time he got within range. We came home and Evelyn had some food ready but wanted me to grill some hot dogs and hamburgers. After we ate, we played some Phase 10 before watching “Happy Feet”. I didn’t like it very well because it seemed sacrilegious. We will have a full day tomorrow. It will be hot again so I watered the plants today.
