Another relaxing day

We walked in the cool morning starting at 8. We had cereal at 9 and then cleaned up for the day. Evelyn worked on making some dessert to take to Ohio. I worked on the computer and then called Purdue again. I called the number given for emergencies but did finally get to talk to the account manager. She said our membership cards would be here soon. She gave us a number to call regarding our Silver Sneakers program. We had lunch and then went down for a short nap before going to town. We visited 2 groceries for small items and 2 drug stores. We got almost everything we wanted. We came home and had supper about 6:30. Evelyn wanted to give our neighbor, Bill Williams, a birthday card, so I made one using our Creatacard program. She took some peanut butter bars, and I took a beer to go with the card which encouraged him to enjoy a beer. We came home and I watched the Cubs while Evelyn read. I will try to find another date for our spiral date so we can be in Xenia on August 20.
