A day of golf

We slept late again this morning, and I decided to play golf. I drove to the course, and Evelyn stayed home to clean some of the kitchen cupboards. It was a pleasant morning and few were playing the front 9, an unusual situation. I walked with my new push cart. I didn’t play as well as I had been lately but not as badly as sometimes. I didn’t get home until 1:10. Evelyn had a wonderful lunch prepared and had completed the cleaning of half of the cupboards. I was surprised to learn Marty wanted to play 18 holes. She is usually too tired after playing pickle ball in the morning. I rented a cart with her and rode around the course. Neither of us played very well, but we did enjoy the weather and the scenery. We didn’t get home until after 6. Evelyn heated some soup for me but didn’t eat. She went for a walk around our loop with Doris. She did walk at the lake in the afternoon but walked again anyway. We watched a movie, “Knocked Up” in the evening. I was in bed when it finished and asleep immediately after. I heard Evelyn up during the night, so I knew she wasn’t sleeping well.
