Ill travelers

We got up ill. Evelyn was especially miserable, yet had to go with Stacy to a Bible study. I went down to eat breakfast, so I could stay out of her way while she dressed. Stacy picked her up at 9:45. I came back and showered. I caught up on my Bible reading and went to the lobby so the maid could freshen up the room. I came back and slept for a short while. Evelyn was back by 1, and we walked to the Red Lobster for a bowl of soup and cheese biscuits. We returned and spent the afternoon in bed. We dressed for Tom’s birthday dinner, and Stacy picked us up. We met Tom and Peter at Boca Italian restaurant. It was decorated with almost every Italian trinket and plaque imaginable. It reminded me of Frankie Bones in Asheville, except it was much more crowded. We had reservations for a table in the kitchen and were shown each dish as it was bought from the grill to be served. We had an appetizer of Mozzarella cheese with basil and tomato. We shared an entrée of Chicken Pruccito and a pasta shell filled with spinach, sausage, feta, and ricotta cheese. We enjoyed all of them and the Celebration cake which was Tom’s birthday. The cake had green, red and yellow layers with egg white icing between them, topped with coconut icing. We said goodbye for the winter and returned to the hotel to rest up for tomorrow’s trip to Mississippi.
