Dinner guests
It was much colder this morning but things went on as usual. Evelyn exercised and I cleaned much of the house because we had Bonny and Joe coming for dinner. We dressed for the hospital, and I rode my bike because the wind wasn’t too strong and it was a tolerable temperature. Evelyn drove because she had to go with Bonny to an antique show. We both went to the hospital luncheon but didn’t stay for the program. Evelyn went off with Bonny, and I went to the information desk to work my normal shift. Lionel didn’t go to the lunch for some reason. The meal was very good as usual. We had a good time serving the Lord while enjoying the camaraderie and fun we usually have. I visited Jack Head, a friend from the park, who had been there overnight. He had heart surgery last winter and wonders what else might be wrong. The non medical people at the information desk have decided it is gall bladder problems. I rode home and helped set up for our meal. We had hors d’oerves while listening to the tape we watched as part of our Bible class from a month ago. I say watched because I could not set the tracking on our VCR. I was disappointed because we had just had it repaired earlier this season. I will have to take it back to see what is wrong. We finished the evening with a small serving of Bailey’s while playing a short game of Phase 10. We only played 3 hands because Joe was tired. We get to sleep in tomorrow morning.
