Not enough clubs
Monday morning began with a dense fog that got more dense by 10. Evelyn went to the park meeting alone. I went to line up a golf date with Armand. We went to The Palms a bit after 10 to find them closed because it was too muddy. Armand was interested in food so we went to La Gloria restaurant, met Tom and Diesta Crouch and had a breakfast taco. Armand is very generous and bought the breakfast (that I didn’t especially want). We came home and had the idea to go to the close par 3 course to see if we could play a short round there. We did. We both played about normal but I had an excuse. I have a small bag of clubs that I carry around that course but don’t have the correct clubs. I had 5 “woods”, 2 high elevation irons and a putter. That made it difficult to play. Armand did have an extra 7 iron that helped me. I also saw a couple that comes to our dance lessons who said the lessons had been cancelled. I told Evelyn so we went for a drive. We stopped at the grocery and then went to see True Grit, the remake version. I still like to older version better but was satisfied with the new one. We came home for supper and watched Meet the Fockers, a movie I had recorded.
