Golf again

After a night of rain, I was up and off to play golf with Gary and Marty.  We had thought the rain might begin again, but it didn’t.  We played about our normal level.  I had 100 even for 18 holes.  I also try to pick up the recyclable items and take them to the center on the way home.  Evelyn led her Bible study and was just arriving home when I arrived.  We had lunch and showered before resting.  She started a large pan of “no nuthin’ soup” for our evening meals the next week.  We found that our friends, Brent and Susan, have been sick this past week and may not be able to go to lunch with us on Sunday.  If they can’t, Gary and Linda will go with us to the Fireplace restaurant.  I have a Groupon that expires Sunday.  Evelyn walked with 2 of the neighbors around our loop.  I watched the beginning of the final season of a show I like, Burn Notice.  It was quite violent but good.   Gary and I may play golf again tomorrow morning weather permitting.
