Goodbye for now

We prepared to leave for Clayton, GA. This is about as close to half way if we want to meet in a town. Tom and Stacy had hosted a missionary family and they weren't going to leave until after 10:00. Olivia helped me unload our bookcase yesterday because I thought Tom might be coming to help me move it to the guest room. I will have to get Steve from across the street to help. We left a bit early so we could get fuel so we arrived about 45 minutes early in Clayton. We had a small bit of shopping to do at the grocery so we were able to kill some time that way. The Savannah Street Cafe, our rendezvous point, closed at 2, so when they arrived we went to a small hippie-like cafe and had a gyro sandwich. We transferred the precious cargo and left for home with some Venetian blinds and two speakers Tom gave us. We stopped at a fruit market and bought a wonderful cantaloupe. We thought of going downtown Waynesville for entertainment but were both tired so we stayed home. It was different without Olivia. I hope she remembers all the fun she had with us, especially Grandma, instead of the times she had to be disciplined. She seems to be more content to focus on the negative things, but perhaps she will look back more fondly with reminders.
