Shamefully missing church
Sunday we arose and began to put the unit together. Unfortunately, both batteries were dead, so I drove the Jeep to the front of the coach and used the jumper cables to start it. Things went smoothly and we put it together. I had to pry the right rear jack again but got it high enough to stop the warning squeal that we listen to much of the time we drive. We planned to worship along the way but the church we wanted to attend was impossible to get to in Peru. We came to Decatur, dumped and filled with water before coming to Kelly RV to set up. We now plan to leave the unit there to have them work on the hydraulic system. Otherwise we will likely have to go back to Moscow, IA on our way south. We will drive the Jeep back to NC. I do want to have the technicians call the warranty company to see if they will cover the repairs. It is not too difficult to raise the malfunctioning one manually but certainly inconvenient. We drove to Berne to visit with Mom and have dinner with her. We spent five hours there and returned to our parking spot where we watched the final two episodes of The Forsyte Saga on our computer. It is over at last. We went to bed in preparation for our errand trip tomorrow.
