The Bowl "Party"
These are the wives who were spared the boredom of watching the game.
These are friends politely watching one of the most boring games I have ever seen Purdue football teams play.
After being up quite late, we slept quite late. We continued the clean up procedure and then had lunch. We rested in the afternoon, and I got the mail containing another Christmas card. This is great because Christmas continues until Epiphany January 6. We took a bike ride despite the brisk wind. I picked up a ceiling fan that Tom Crouch had repaired. He can fix almost anything. We then went to the Iverson’s to view a DVD they wanted us to see. Our DVD player is in the repair shop. The DVD was of Guy Penrod, the lead singer for the Gaither vocal band. It was good. Those people are very good to us. They even sent dinner home with us as well as some candy they had received for Christmas. We came home and ate, after which I worked on tomorrow’s service while Evelyn put names into our new address book. We threw out several names that we will never communicate with again. I am still trying to post pictures on the blog without success so far. I will try again tonight.
