More cold, rainy weather

Monday was cold and rainy again. We met at the park meeting for a short time. Evelyn had to go home to get ready to go to lunch with Bonny. I stayed and won a calendar. We are given tickets at each meeting and some door prizes are given away. Since we don’t need another calendar, I just kept quiet and let someone else have the calendar. I picked up our park T-shirt to wear to the egg toss finals next Tuesday. I came home and took Evelyn to Bonny’s and went on several errands. I tried to get the tires rotated but have to wait until tomorrow. I got some Communion wine, went to Wal-Mart, took some cash we had around the house to the bank and got gasoline. I came home and had the leftover half of the hamburger from Boog-a-de-Boo we had last Thursday. It was still very good. Evelyn came home and brought another half a burger we will eat sometime soon. It was too cold and rainy to work on the back step so I just worked on the order of service for Sunday. The rain had no doubt made the streets in Mexico muddy and slick, so we took a nap, and then she went back to work on the garment she is making for the girls. I got the mail and found a package from Clayton, our investment guy, containing an elegant thermos and two travel mugs for hot or cold drinks. We needed another mug. I called the doctor in NC asking for his e-mail address so I could talk with him concerning the herbs recommended by the man who analyzed our blood work. I got no such message. I wanted to watch one of the movies I had recorded but Evelyn chose to read. I watched some of the CSI programs and Glenn Beck until time for the news.
