Sunday blessings
Sunday was another day of blessings. We were blessed with 40 people at worship. We were blessed with Holy Communion. We were blessed to see our friends Lionell and Janet who are in the same rehab hospital. We returned home for lunch early because our Bible study had only one of the regular attenders was there. One other has pneumonia and his wife was in Connecticut for the funeral of her sister. We had a nice salad and a prepared South Beach Diet dinner of marinated chicken breast and broccoli. We may go on that diet. We were able to rest for a couple of hours before going to the tea dance at Victoria Palms, another RV park near here. We enjoyed dancing to the big band type music. We saw several fine dancers. We came home and I washed the car. It was quite dirty and had not been washed at the Saturn dealer last Saturday when the oil was changed. Evelyn was tired from dancing and napped until time to go to Joe and Bonny’s for a dinner of beans, fresh garden salad, delicious corn bread and an apple pie with more apples in it than either Evelyn or I had ever seen. We visited with them until 9:30 and then came home. They did say that they were coming to our party next Sunday. We also called another friend who is a winter Texan from Nebraska. His wife is undergoing chemotherapy in NE but will be here by next weekend.
