Wandering in Mexico

Friday Janice arrived at 9 and off we went. Evelyn had an appointment for a haircut and couldn’t go. Janice got into the dentist, had her teeth cleaned, the eye tooth pulled, and got an appointment for more work next week. I wandered around town and drank only one beer. I waited to have lunch with her when she was finished. She likes to go to Arturo’s to eat so we went there and she had tortilla soup and ice cream. I had stuffed poblano pepper. Both were delicious. We came home by 2:30 and I had time to go to the hospital but decided that I should go to bed and get some rest. I did. Evelyn came home at 5 and we made final preparations for our evening guests. We enjoyed visiting with them, a retired LCMS pastor and his wife. I was wondering what he thought of our services and was pleased that he was blessed by them and even had some “liberal” suggestions for me. We played hand and foot after supper of barbecue sandwiches.
