A day on the bikes

Thursday was productive early in the sermon for Sunday. Evelyn went to exercise and then we rode our bikes to the nearest bank to get some crisp dollar bills to send out for a birthday. We got them and then stopped at a local restaurant to see about a place for our choir to go for dinner after caroling. We then went to the hospital to visit our friend Joan but did not find her. She had been dismissed so we returned. Evelyn then went to water aerobics but the leader didn’t come. She exercised a bit and came home. This was the first time she had been in the pool for two years or more. We had lunch of a delicious, home made spinach salad and then rested until time to go to a planning meeting for the formation of another recreational group in the park. It might fly. At 4:30 we went on a poker run with the bike club. We were to ride around the park 5 times. We were given 2 cards to start and 1 more each time we completed a round. That meant each of us had 7 cards so we were playing 7 card stud. The best hand of 5 won a prize. I had a pair of 9s and 2s but the 5 winners all had three of a kind. We left and rushed to a nearby park to see Razzmatazz, a group of high school students from a local school. They do a variety show that is quite professional. A couple of the kids had very good voices. We were home by 8:30. I called the man who installed our heat/AC system and he will come tomorrow morning. His workers drilled holes in our kitchen pergo floor last year, and I want them to pay to have it repaired.
