Merry Christmas!!!!!!

Here is a picture of the Christmas dinner party. Joe, Bonny, Randy, Tracy, Christian, Mark, Bob, Evelyn, and some people from Galveston who have a home on Progreso Lakes.

This is a picture of Evelyn looking at the pool at Randy, Tracy, Christian and Mark Winston's. Progreso Lake is in the background.
Christmas morning began late for us since we had been up late the night before. We didn’t exchange gifts at all because we have been blessed throughout the year. Besides, we try to focus on the special gift God gave us on His birthday: Yashua Amashia (Jesus Christ). I went to the hall to look around while Evelyn finished the desserts we were to take to dinner with the Winstons. We left for their house about 15 until 1 and were surprised to find no one home. I called Bonny and found her headed to their son’s where the dinner was to be. She had not made that clear to Evelyn. When we arrived, I poured a glass of wine and dropped it on their floor even before I had sipped from the glass. I had dropped one earlier in the summer but after I had consumed quite a bit. Any way we were further surprised to find virtually nothing had been done in preparation. The turkey wasn’t sliced, the fresh green beans weren’t cooked, the table wasn’t even set. It was 2 before we had anything to eat. There was an appetizer of delicious chicken salad to munch on. The dinner was delicious including two dishes of sweet potatoes, mashed potatoes, an apple salad, and cranberry salad as well as the above mentioned items. We also had a variety of desserts. In short a gluttonous day was had by all. We visited most of the afternoon and came home around 5. We rested a bit and then walked around the park in the wonderfully temperate weather: 68 degrees and little wind. We watched some of last year’s concert by Mannheim Steamroller and went to bed. We may go shopping tomorrow for after Christmas bargains.
