problems in paying a bill
Wednesday I had intended to go have blood drawn to see it the Crestor was doing its job. I rode the bike and took a note I had printed off to the doctor asking that he prescribe an MRI or CAT scan so he could know something when I came to see him on January 2. I also made a plan to have blood drawn two days after Christmas. I may not do that since the hospital will draw blood free for us later as volunteers. I returned and we ate a brunch at 10:30. We never eat lunch that early. We also invited one of the neighbors for dinner Sunday. We left to run errands. We went to the Mirror House to have our mirror re-silvered but the man said it couldn’t be done. We ordered a new one. We went to the bank and got a roll of the final quarters of 2007 to put in our collection for the grandchildren. We went to Wal-Mart and bought some food for Sunday’s dinner and another gift for our Angel Tree child at church. We returned home and I spent much time trying to pay our Bank of America card. I also was curious as to why we couldn’t charge anything on it. When I called, I learned that we had charged more than our credit limit. I will try to get it raised but won’t likely need it because I had charged large donations to charities that I won’t be doing until next year. I am still irritated that BOA is unable to get the money from the credit union. I can’t pay on line and, in order to make any more charges, I had to call and make a payment over the phone, costing $5. I am pretty irritated with the credit union. We went to our Advent service and then stayed for choir practice. We weren’t home until almost 9 and just relaxed. I also took a couple of toys to be put with those we will take to Mexico next Saturday. We are to drive and transport items and people.
