Happy birthday again.

Sunday was Holy Communion. Emily and her family worshipped with us. We couldn’t sit with them because we sang in the choir. We stopped to get Evelyn’s potassium for the trip and got some milk as well. We rested some during the afternoon. I was not allowed into the kitchen area because there was a big surprise being planned for my birthday party. I watched some Nascar while I continued packing. We tried to carry some things to the motor home. Around 4:30 the Georges from Roswell arrived with many surprises. They had corn to roast in our new grill, they had a large case of Corona Light to drink and some ingredients for Jambalaya. It was a marvelous surprise party--the best I have had in years if not decades. Stacy had also made carrot cake at my request and Rosalie had written the happy birthday grandpa on it. I felt very special. Evelyn gave me a shirt and golf glove and a beautiful card. I wish half of the nice things it said were true. Even though I know they aren't, I love hearing them. Elizabeth gave me some coasters she had knitted. She is only 8. His family also gave Noah a gift because he will be with us on our trip when he has his birthday July 11. We continued packing the motor home, and we slept outside with the boys as we will for the next 10 days. It was cool and we wondered why. Amazingly the air conditioner was running and did not blow the circuit breaker in the house.
