finished

We slept a bit later this morning and cleaned up the outside table that was very wet from last night’s rain. We gave the boys the option of taking a shower or going swimming. They went swimming. They returned and we ate breakfast of cereal and left. Unfortunately Andrew had put his shoes under the coach where no one saw them so we left them unknowingly. We drove some back roads to Ninety Six, SC. I never realized it was a town. We used the GPS but had to guess the address. We got to the town but had to stop to ask at the library and found the way to the battlefield. It was one of two sites we visited where nearly all of the original landscape had been maintained. It only took us an hour or so to tour the museum and the battle ground. We and nearly all the world are surprised that the Continentals won the war. We came out and found that the generator would not produce any power to the coach even though it ran well. We were unable to heat the hot dogs for lunch. Instead we drove a hundred miles and went to a Subway for sandwiches. It was 4 by now and so we called it supper. We called Stacy and told her we would be arriving before dark and wouldn’t need supper. We came through Roswell without any problem. We were all glad to be here. We had drinks and conversation. I planned to sleep in the motor home, but it was too hot. I came in and joined everyone else in AC. It is unclear at this time where I will sleep. Evelyn is on the couch.
