golf and a concert
I was off to play golf at 8:30 with Bob Schwinghammer at Stuart Place. I had a couple of good holes but a couple of very bad ones. I was still under 50. We came home and began lunch before Evelyn was reminded we had planned to worship at noon this Wednesday. We did go and returned to finish our lunch. We went to Trail’s End to pick up Bruhns to go to dinner at Costa Messa Restaurant. We had coupons for 20% off but got 50% for some reason. We really liked the restaurant, the service and the food. I also had the permission of the owners of Lutheran Worship at our park to give them away. We have too many sets of hymnals, and the park is pressing us to get rid of some. We went on to the concert featuring “Pianafiddle”, 2 performers playing guess what instruments. They were great musicians but not the concert that was best to my liking. The pianist was 70, and the violinist was 35. They gave a very interesting show. We returned to Bruhn’s to see some pictures of the “teardrop” trailer he had built last summer. It was very ingenious in design and construction.
