Clearing the driveway.

I was up at 7:30 and cut down some more cactus. I have wheeled 5 loads and have many more to complete. Evelyn put some chicken breasts into our slow cooker before leaving for worship. We were blessed by Holy Communion but remembered we had signed to eat with the church and its new members inducted today. We drove to Harlingen and had a nice lunch . There were 3 tables (about 36 people) including 6 inductees. The first table was finished and leaving before the third table had even been served. It was not a good place for that kind of meal. We returned home and found the chicken breasts in good shape. We washed the dishes from last night and then hooked up the trailer. We took it to park at Joe and Bonny’s and plan our evening at the play tomorrow. We came home and ate popcorn for our supper. We also talked with Don Waters about Thanksgiving, Stacy about her plans for the holiday, and the Beelis about their upcoming move to Dayton in late December. We went to bed after the news.
