Sewing trouble

I got up and wondered why the plastic fitting would not work on the ice maker. I decided to try again. I attached it, using all the equipment from the ice maker filter, but Evelyn saw it was slowly leaking. I took it apart and applied some Teflon tape and it worked. I thank God for giving me the idea. Armond and I went to Lowes but didn’t find what we were looking for but did find a flashlight to replace the one that won’t work. We came home, helped unload Kruse’s trailer and ate lunch before I rode the bike to the hospital. I substituted for someone who couldn’t make it. Paul was working but was not looking nor feeling good. We had wanted to go to the dinner with him and Donna but will have to wait until next week. I rode home and invited the Kruses to go to Long John Silvers with us. We went and had a good time. We came home for the evening. During the day, Evelyn had tried to sew on the bathroom curtains, but the sewing machine stopped working. We had just paid $67 to have it fixed last Saturday.
