Welcomed rain

We had another ¼ inch of rain to go with the .3 we got last night. I was able to do some more cleaning of the golf cart batteries and affixed the chargers to 2 other batteries. I worked on the order of service for the 29th. I helped Evelyn clean the curtains in the living room by vacuuming the tops of the curtains. She also wants to replace the curtains in the bathroom. We were invited to go to a fund raiser at a Lutheran Church in McAllen with Hamels. We picked them up at 6:15 and left for the big city. Unfortunately, Sue had not brought the address of the church. We drove around and finally found someone who knew where the church was. The headliners were the Sweet Adelines and a very good local magician. There were also snacks included in the $10 admission fee. I talked with some of the men from Llano Grande who happened to be there too. We were home by 10:30.
