Warm Sunday

Sunday we were blessed with 47 attenders, 5 of whom were visitors or first timers. We came home for me to vacuum the floor, and Evelyn prepare for our dinner guests. Clifford and Corrine Lenz came for oven baked chicken. They are on the church "committee", and we owe much to all of them. We try to have some of them for a meal each year. We had a nice visit with them. They are from Canada, retiring from the hydro (electricity) industry. They left around 2:30, and Evelyn lay down for a nap. I talked with Elizabeth for a while (we had neglected to call her yesterday on her 10th birthday) and then left for Immanuel for a Valentine party. The regular people were there. We returned home and took a bike ride around the park. This was the first warm, sunny afternoon in weeks. I also called the AARP area coordinator to learn somd things about how to file the report on my class. I have to contact the Gideon church assignment secretary to change the date we will allow the Gideons to come to make their report. We closed the evening watching the winter Olympics and talking to the grandchildren, Olivia and Elizabeth. The weather is forecast nice for tomorrow but then cold and rainy for the middle of the week.
