The Passion of our Lord
I walked the key to the exercise group because Evelyn had taken a sleepiing pill early this morning and was groggy. I came home and worked on the message. Evelyn was up by 9 and we had a light breakfast. We rode our bikes to the adjoining park to get some last names of the exercise women. It was quite windy, but we made it because we didn't go far. I checked my packing for the cruise trip and think I am ready. It really became hot and humid so we didn't go outside much. I did go to get the mail on the golf cart but didn't take long. We took naps in the afternoon until a call came reminding Evelyn to refill a prescription. We then prepared for Janice's arrival. She was to come at 5 but showed up at 4:30. We visited until time for supper of quiche and pasta salad. She came to attend Good Friday services with us. Don was helping another farmer finish planting. The service was long but inspirational. We sang in the choir and both Evelyn and I read part of the Passion Scripture. It was one of the better services we have attended in recent history. We sent some green from the garden and a potted plant home with Janice. We tried to meet Hamels for breakfast, but they want to shuffle before they leave Sunday after church. We are running out of people to bum around with.
